Sometimes called “growing zones,” hardiness zones refer to a map developed by the USDA that separates the United States into regions based on the average low winter temperatures. The USDA Hardiness Zone Map is the standard by which gardeners and growers can determine which plants are most likely to thrive at a location. The map is based on the average annual minimum winter temperature, divided into 10-degree F zones and further divided into 5-degree F half-zones.

    • This perennial collection is perfect for full sun spaces that get six or more hours of sun per day.

    This 24-plant collection grows to fill a space up to about 10x12 feet. These plants provide monarchs three seasons of support on their migratory journey, while also helping birds, other butterflies, and important pollinators.

    Bloom times vary for each plant (as noted below), with the collection as a whole serving wildlife for three seasons each year.

    When planted in the ground, these plants will spread wider and grow taller, while also helping underground soil systems.

Beautiful and Resilient!

I planted them this spring so no flowers yet but I did accidentally break the stem for two of the plants which had ALL the leaves. I thought the plant was a goner BUT it came back. The root system was strong even for the little plants and it is back to thriving again.
